Proud to Be . . . Performing Our Pride Concert & Dance TWICE!

We’re dancing our feet off this season, between social activities at the International Women’s Day Dance, the DOWS Dance, and so many of our friends mysteriously all getting married the same year . . . so we’ll be all warmed up for the Artemis Singers PROUD TO BE . . . ME! Concert & Dance, to celebrate Chicago Pride in June.

We’re going to put on PROUD TO BE . . . ME! twice!! On Saturday, June 6, we’ll be celebrating at Broadway United Methodist in Lakeview, and the following Saturday, June 13, we’ll head south to Beverly Unitarian Church. Come join us in one of our familiar venues–or venture with us to a new and lovely spot–or both!

Check our Events page for more details.

Or go ahead and buy your tickets now for Lakeview or for Beverly.

Many members take active volunteer roles, serving as artistic directors, production managers, board members, and more.

We bond, often forming friendships that go beyond the chorus.

New member night for our spring 2015 season is this week–Thursday, February 19. Now’s the time to join, if you want to sing with us at our June 6 concert and dance!

Watch a short 6 minute video of chorus members Lou Sutton and Lois McCullen Parr sharing why they enjoy singing with Artemis and why they’re looking forward to this concert.
