We sing music written or arranged by women. Our songs include music from all eras and styles, with varying levels of complexity — mostly choral arrangements in two-, three-, or four-part harmony.

We particularly love to sing music written for us by members and friends, and we often sing repertoire that we’ve heard performed by Sister Singers Network member choruses.

Our music is selected at meetings open to any member who chooses to participate.

“Fishing with the Lesbians,” by Ruth Huber,  was commissioned by Artemis Singers in 2010, in memory of singer Michaeline Chvatal.
