The next Artemis Singers New Member night will be September 27, 2018 (note change from original date). We would love to have you come and sing with us! We rehearse on Thursday nights on the northwest side of Chicago, in a new location accessible by car (ample free parking), CTA L, or bus.

We seek women singers who can carry a tune and are excited about singing in a lesbian feminist chorus that performs music written or arranged by women. That’s what we’ve been up to for the last 38 years!

Our next concert will be “Sheroes” in March 2019. In honor of Women’s History Month, the Sheroes concert will present songs and stories of strong women we admire — women who made a difference, who stood up to power, who moved the people and worlds around them. We are envisioning an intimate evening of songs and spoken pieces from members of Artemis and the lesbian community.
