WHERE: VanderCook College of Music – Great Hall 3125 S. Federal St. (not 3140)

PARKING: Free parking on campus in several lots. We’ll be in the Great Hall. It’s the first building on the east — just south of 31st street.

See the map below for parking. NOTE: You will be able to park in any of these VanderCook/IIT campus lots for no charge, even though you may see signs asking for payment.

TRANSPORT: Public transportation is available through the CTA Red Line 35th Sox station (142 W. 35th St, Chicago) or CTA Green line 35th-Bronzeville-IIT station (16 E. 35th St., Chicago). Several bus lines also serve the area.  Confirm directions with your favorite online map app.

We’re settling in to a short break and then will dash back into rehearsals and preparations for our February 1 All About Love concert. We understand that some people like giving and receiving tickets as a holiday gift idea, hint hint.

We are on TV! On the Block, a news and features show on WCIU, recorded and produced a segment about us earlier this year and it was broadcast on Thursday Dec 19 on station the U Too. It will also air Saturday at 10:00 am and Sunday at 12:00 am on The U. The U is found on WCIU, Channel 26.1, XFINITY 183|1026, Astound TV 6, Dish 26, Direct TV 26, Spectrum Charter 22/616 and U-Verse 10/1010, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV.

Mark your calendar for our next concert “All About Love” — a celebration and examination of all kinds of love, featuring love songs, breakup songs, friendship songs, and lesbian songs. You’ll experience the many flavors of love: romantic, platonic, familial, self, unrequited, and others.

We will be performing at a new location with our 15 new members: VanderCook College of Music, Great Hall. VanderCook is in the Bronzeville/IIT neighborhood, 3125 S. Federal St. Chicago. More details to come. Tickets available now!
