Save the Date for our January show

Reserve January 17, 2026:

Interwoven: Threads of Earth and Self emphasizes the interconnectedness and intersectionality of all things -– nature and humanity, specifically highlighting how marginalized identities intersect with experiences of the natural world.

It’s an exploration of how humans interact with each other and the environment. How we as creatures on this planet build and destroy, marvel and soar, yearn and fail, rise and fall, love and lose, and sometimes love again.

We are preparing some beautiful, beautiful pieces for you to hear and savor and ponder. Please join us.

The concert will be ASL interpreted.

Thank you!

You showed up for us, and we thank you sincerely! You bought over 150 tickets to our Karaoke Party Fundraiser, and we had a terrific time with all of you! Your generosity will help us fund scholarships (choralships? singerships?) for our singers to attend the upcoming Sister Singers Network Choral Festival which Artemis Singers will host in July 2026. You are the best audience, fanbase, community we could ever wish for.

Thank you also to Whiskey Girl Tavern for hosting our event free of charge! This is a great venue for hanging out with your peeps!

If you missed the chance to join us or donate, you can always send a few bucks our way here: Donate Now.

As we did in 2010, next July we are playing host to the Sister Singers Network Choral Festival. We will have about 20 feminist choruses from around the country — 700 or more singers — converging on Chicago to celebrate this once-every-four-years gathering. You may have noticed that we rarely reach out for donations, since we run a pretty lean volunteer-driven organization. But the SSN festival is a world beyond.

We are aiming to raise some money to ensure that we can help cover costs for all of our singers to register, stay on campus, and attend the event, and also to supplement all the other expenses we will see for this large-scale production. We invite you to help out and to have some fun in the process.

We’re starting off a new and exciting season of song

Thursday, September 4 marks our new member night for the 2025-2026 season. We expect to start the year with 60 singers. This performance year we will not only produce 2 concerts, but we are also preparing to host the 2026 Sister Singers Network Choral Festival in July. These unique every-four-years events bring together 20 or so feminist choruses from across the country and beyond to perform, learn, share repertoire, attend workshops, and generally have a fantastic musical time.

As host chorus, we have selected the theme Power In Harmony. Harmony is a blending of many diverse voices, following different pathways, each contributing a unique sound. Together, we create a beautiful piece of work and art. In harmony and togetherness, we find the strength and power to face adversity and each new challenge.
